This beautiful, detached Victorian house has been sympathetically restored and retains many original features. Located in the historic Scottish capital city of Edinburgh, it is just over a mile from the main tourist attractions, such as Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. There are frequent local buses running every few minutes from early in the morning to late in the evening and less frequently during the night, from here into the town centre and all the main visitor attractions.

Glenalmond House is not part of the VisitScotland rating scheme any more, but you can be assured that it is still at least equivalent to their 4 star Gold Tourist Board rating (the latest award we had from VisitScotland valid until 2017). We believe in continuous improvement as a means to providing the best we are able to for our customers.
