Statistics say that over half of the population are single or live alone. In today's world, it is so difficult to get out there and meet genuine people. People who have the same interests as yourself and just looking for friendship and company.

For whatever reason, we are single or live alone, whether it is by choice or circumstance we all want to make friends. Maybe we just don't have the same interests as our partners.

So this site has been set up to hopefully bring people together, to meet the old fashioned way ( with a bit of technology thrown in), through social events, with no expectations and none of the pressure of dating sites and in the company and security of others.

We are the generation that time forgot. Retired, and living alone, still reasonably active and would still like to socialize. Lets set a precedent, we, after all, are the Baby Boomers who started it all.

WHO SET THE RULES THAT WE CAN ONLY SOCIALIZE WITH PEOPLE WE KNOW?
Would you like to go see a show, go out to dinner, go to the cinema, visit a gallery, have a day out shopping, play golf, or just a coffee at the cafe, anything that takes your fancy, but would like some company? Most of us don't feel comfortable going it alone, so maybe this is the answer.
