Duncan Roebuck - MA (Psychotherapy), MSc (Psychology), UKCP accred., MBPsS
I am a UKCP accredited, Edinburgh-based psychotherapist with over six years' clinical experience. I am experienced at providing both short and longer-term therapy and have worked across a range of areas, including: work-related stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, sexuality, relationship issues, low self-esteem and low confidence. In addition to seeing clients privately, I have also volunteered as a therapist at a number of Edinburgh based agencies, including: LGBT Health and Well Being, Gay Men's Health and the PF Counselling Service.
In my practice, I offer a safe, non-judging and confidential therapeutic space where thoughts and feelings can be shared and explored. The therapeutic journey I believe can serve as an opportunity to uncover one's inner resources and resilience, as well as an opportunity to discover new and more flexible ways of relating to oneself, others and life.
I offer an initial meeting, which may last up to an hour, for a fee of £20. This initial appointment is an opportunity for us to explore what has brought you to therapy and allows us to get a sense for how it might be to work together. If we proceed to weekly therapy, then my fee is £50 per hour long appointment thereafter.
