The Wel - Edinburgh Rehearsal and Creative Facility.
THE WEL is a multi-purpose space designed to cater for creative people in music, drama, photography – any creative area we can accommodate.
We have a clean and comfortable, well-equipped, working space including use of a chill-out area where free WiFi, complimentary tea and coffee, spares shop, snacks and microwave are all at your disposal.
For the musicians we have a full equipment spec of regularly maintained guitar amplifiers and tuned drum kit.
For clients requiring a space to shoot photography or video, or perhaps an environment for conducting casting or rehearsal sessions, we are ideal.
Located just off Bonnington Road in the Leith area of Edinburgh, with free parking… THE WEL welcomes you.

This is definitely the best rehearsal space in Edinburgh. Keith is always really friendly and helpful. The acoustics in the room are excellent and all the equipment is of a high standard. We always feel very looked after and we never rehearse elsewhere; other rehearsal spaces don’t come near the high standard that has been set by the Wel.

The Wel is everything you could need in a rehearsal room. It’s maintained to the highest standard and run by the ever professional Keith Easton. What more could I ask for? Living round the corner from it would be nice; I’d be there every day if I could.

The Woosh team bend and break their backs to make The Wel one of the most friendly and flexible creative spaces in the city. We often make use of the facilities, as its perfect for mid sized projects. Motivated!
The Wel is awesome. We don’t feel motived in any other rehearsal establishment which is why we continually return to The Wel for the banter and the free toffees! But in all seriousness, the room is great.
It all works!
The key differences between The Wel and pretty much every other practice facility I’ve ever seen are quality and attention to detail. The guys at Woosh understand what you need when you practice and understand how irritating it can be when you don’t get it. The PA works, the amps work, the drum kit is tuned, the lights work, the heaters work, the aircon works, it’s clean, it’s tidy, it smells nice (seriously).….I could go on but I’m sure you get the picture. Comparing this to some of the places I’ve practiced over the last 20 years, it’s just such a pleasure to play here. I can’t recommend The Wel highly enough.
