SSC online Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course

I teach English in Taiwan, and I am delighted to write my review for Scotland Study Centre (SSC). I am grateful to SSC for instructing me in how to teach global reading. Although I knew the importance of teaching global reading, I did not know how to lead my students to learn the structure of a text. To get the help I needed, I joined the SSC online Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course. During the online course, I analysed texts together with the instructor. This helped me understand how a text is structured hierarchically; that is, I learned to identify the main and the more subsidiary parts of the text. As a result of my own personal experience, I strongly recommend the SSC TEFL course to any English teacher who wants to improve their teaching strategies as well as their own students' performance in English.
